Karen Kirk Thielen Office: MUS 164 • Phone: 408-924-4668 Harp Ms. Thielen has attended the University of California and the Music Academy of the West, continuing graduate studies at Boston University and the Tanglewood Institute. She has performed with the Houston Symphony, San Francisco Opera and Ballet orchestras. She is currently Principal Harpist with the Monterey Symphony, Opera San Jose, and Second Harpist with the San Jose Symphony.
