A herd of Capybaras was spotted at the Birmingham Zoo in Birmingham, Alabama during a trip to the South to attend the SEAMUS 1996 Conference (April 1996).

The baby Capy was born on 10 April 1996, and so was only ten days old when photographed by Jacques Bickett-Belet.
